Ed Schultz broke news last night: His MSNBC show is moving to Saturday and Sunday from 5pm to 7pm.  Nobody on TV is a stronger voice for working people than Ed Schultz. He deserves to know we treasure that voice — and will keep watching him.

Can you sign our thank-you card to Ed Schultz, and tell him what his voice means to you? Click here — and forward this to other Ed fans.

Progressive Change Campaign Committee co-founder Adam Green will be on Ed’s radio show today at 2:05pm and will tell him how many people signed the card, and will read a note on the air. So sign today.

When unions were attacked in Wisconsin and Ohio, Ed was there. When Whirlpool fired workers in Iowa, Ed was there. When Bain Capital was moving jobs overseas from Illinois, Ed was there.

Ed has also been a great friend to the PCCC — featuring us on his show many times, and having multiple PCCC members on to tell their stories.

Ed deserves to know that the public thanks him — and we’ll keep watching as he remains a voice for us. Sign the card here, and pass it on.

UPDATE: Over 7,900 people have signed on to thank Ed.

UPDATE II: PCCC co-founder Adam Green appeared on Schultz’s radio show to announce we now have over 10,000 thank yous. He read notes from PCCC members and will continue to deliver thank yous and notes to Ed.

UPDATE III: We now have 16,433 signers

UPDATE IV: Almost 20,000 people have thanked Ed Schultz for always standing up for working people.

UPDATE V: Almost 25,000 people have signed on.

UPDATE VI, MARCH 15th: Over 40,000 people have now signed on.

I will miss your evening news, Ed. You kept me informed while fixing dinner (thank the DVR). I will watch your Sat and Sun shows. Now I get to listen to you on the weekend while fixing dinner. Your interview with Scott Prouty was excellent and looks like we have a new hero in Scott.

  3. Thanks Ed, for being the voice of the working class and also I am so glad your wife is o.k. Spend more time with her and good luck on your new weekend show.

  4. Thanks for your commitment to workers… I deeply appreciated the work you did in the Midwest last year. It made me understand the decision-making of the MSM is hyper-corporate. Unfortunate for our country.

Blessings to you and your family..

Thanks Ed, as a steelworker i really appreciate your fight for the middle class. I also appreciate the fact that my president Leo Gerard the hardest working person in the labor movement was on your show so many times.

Thanks Ed, for sticking up for the rights of the middle class and the Unions! We also appreciate your excellent stories on the real truth about the Postal Service. You are a true American hero!

  7. My entire family loves you ED! We are the working class and even if you moved to 2 am on any night/morning of the week, I would find you and view your show. You were the best during the election and NO ONE except maybe Rev. Al Sharpton could compare with your passion. You got us out of our chairs and into the voting booth. Liberals and Progressives will make sure you have the most watched show on weekend TV! You will be watched by many more people than 60 Minutes and I look forward to you kicking the crap out of all those stupid morning shows (especially mushy mouthed half conservative/half liberal Chris Matthews and David what’s his name on Meet the Stupid Press). I’m an ex-investigative journalist…AND I think you represent what journalism should be today. Go get ‘em.Ed, .we’ve got your back! Success is yours and we will be tuned in faithfully! You are our hero and we will make you the #1 watched weekend show!

  8. Thank you Ed for standing up for the American worker..

I am going to mss you dearly. But I’ll be sure to watch you over the weekends. I loved how you reached out to help all mankind and how you made sure lies were being exposed no matter who it came from. Also, how little people paid attention to the truth if the individual was not popular.

Thank you so much. Love you Ed!

I love Big Ed. I will be watching Ed on the Weekends. I hope Chris will look out for the regular working women and men. All the best to both Ed and Chris.

  17. I loved watching Ed, and admired and appreciated his support of working people and unions (being part of a union family). But I have to say that I was very disappointed one night when he was discussing guns, and he said he went into a Walmart store to buy a gun. I was totaly shocked. How can any real supporter of unions shop in Walmart. I hope Ed is not a hypocrite, and using his ‘union support’ to further himself. Please say it isn’t so, I never shop in that store. You just can’t “Talk the Talk” you have to “Walk the Walk”.

  18. Someone necessarily lend a hand to make seriously articles I’d state. This is the very first time I frequented your website page and to this point? I amazed with the analysis you made to create this actual put up incredible. Excellent process

  19. It’s appropriate time to make some plans for the future and it’s time to be happy. I’ve read this post and if I could I want to suggest you few interesting things or advice. Maybe you can write next articles referring to this article. I want to read even more things about it!

  20. You will be missed Ed! Thanks for everything. Will try to catch you on weekends. Hopefully you will pop in on the weekdays from time to time!!
