Carl Sciortino is running to represent Massachusetts’ 5th District, which is Senator Ed Markey’s old seat. The Democratic primary is October 15. Carl would be a bold progressive in Congress, and an ally to Senator Elizabeth Warren: he supports prosecuting Wall Street bankers, Elizabeth Warren’s Glass-Steagall bill, increasing Social Security benefits, Medicare For All, and reversing Citizens United.

A self-proclaimed “Massachusetts liberal,” he’s got the support of other progressive leaders like Reps. Alan Grayson, Mark Takano, Keith Ellison, and Raul Grijalva.
