Mike Honda has dedicated his life to public service, first in 1965, when he heeded President Kennedy’s call to join the Peace Corps. He has taught high school science and has sat on his local school board. Mike will continue to stand up for economic justice and fairness for all communities.

“My priority has always been and will always be defending and fighting for the progressive values that so many within this district share,” Mike recently wrote in the San Jose Mercury News. “I am proud of my track record of delivering for middle class families.”

His Wall Street- and billionaire-backed opponent shopped around for a while before deciding which district to run in, while Mike Honda was in Congress standing up for civil rights, a living wage for all Americans, and expanding access to healthcare.
